Message	ES diff bushings. IIRC there is a large metal washer or flange that I had in the wronge way. This made the diff sit at a bad angle relative to the drive shaft. I think it cooked off the input shaft bearing and the oil. When I opened up the back cover everything inside was a black from the cooked diff oil, like a well seasoned SS frying pan. Might be worth checking.
